TEQUILA-MEZCAL

Iguana has always proudly served high quality Tequilas and Mezcals from the famous labels to lesser known houses.

Our tequilas are meant for sipping and we serve our 100% blue agave tequilas in snifter glasses with our spicy tomato or pineapple house “sangrita”.

Our new Mezcal menu features traditional Oaxaca growers along with others from San Luis Potosi and Michoacan.

CINCO DE MAYO

Known as the “largest Cinco de Mayo party in Europe”, our Cinco street party takes place every May to commemorate this very Mexican-American holiday.  The entire block is filled with live music, outdoor barbecue, tequila bars and lots of ice cold margaritas and beer.  Check this website for next year’s date!

OUR STORY

Welcome to Iguana Bar & Grill, a Budapest institution since 1997.

Iguana was founded by Americanos Cory Skolnik, Chris Fly and Mo Ortiz – three Colorado dudes who missed their Mexican food. Our menu represents the food we grew up with: Spicy Enchiladas, San Francisco-style Mission Burritos, crispy Chimichangas and Cory’s legendary Jalapeño Poppers and Jeno Quesadilla!

We wanted a place where we could enjoy delicious Mexican-American food, drink cold beer and margaritas – and laugh with friends.
